Rigel Architecture and Construction ("Rigel", "we", "us", or "our") is a registered firm based in Lagos, Nigeria, specializing in architectural design, construction, project management, and related consultancy services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or entering into any agreement with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services or website.

3. Services

We provide architectural design, construction, renovation, project management, and consultancy services. The specific scope, deliverables, timelines, and costs for each project will be outlined in a separate Project Agreement or Contract signed by both parties.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and complete information necessary for the project.
• Obtain all required regulatory approvals and permits.
• Make timely payments as per the agreed schedule.
• Grant us reasonable access to the project site.
• Ensure the site is safe and free from hazards for our team.

5. Payments and Fees

All fees and payment schedules will be clearly stated in the Project Agreement. Payments are due as agreed. Late payments may attract interest and may result in suspension of work. All prices are in Nigerian Naira unless otherwise stated.

6. Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, models, and creative works produced by Rigel Architecture and Construction remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon full settlement, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the designs for the specific project only. You may not reproduce or reuse our designs for other projects without written consent.

7. Project Timeline and Delays

We strive to complete projects within the agreed timeline. However, delays caused by client instructions, force majeure events (floods, strikes, government regulations, etc.), or unforeseen site conditions may extend the completion date. We will not be liable for such delays.

8. Warranties and Disclaimers

We warrant that our construction work will be carried out with reasonable skill and care in accordance with applicable Nigerian standards. We provide a defects liability period as specified in the contract. Except as expressly stated, all warranties are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rigel Architecture and Construction shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific project.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate a project agreement in accordance with the terms specified in the contract. Upon termination, you remain responsible for all fees for work completed up to the termination date.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. We comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and any contracts between you and Rigel shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lagos State.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
